• Air qualities are likely to be very poor in Northern, Central, Eastern, and Western India.
• In the early morning hours, dense to very dense fog may blanket pockets of Northern and Northeastern India, and dense fog is likely in some pockets of Central and Eastern India.

  A Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies runs roughly along Longitude 68°E to the north of Latitude 30°N. An induced cyclonic circulation lies over north Pakistan and the neighbouring lower tropospheric levels. Under the influence of these systems, scattered snow/rain is likely over Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh on December 30.

• Furthermore, moist air under a gentle breeze will contribute to form morning fog in isolated pockets of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi during the next 3-4 days. Dense fog is very likely in isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh from December 30, 2022-January 3, 2023, and over north Rajasthan from December 31, 2022 – January 3, 2023.
